Author: Takano Ichigo (The same author with "Orange" which I'll probably review later)

Status: Finished

Genre: Comedy, Reverse harem, romance, shoujo, ...

Summary

While loitering in the park, Shimana Kameko, who intended to run away from home and skipped school, meets a suspicious man in a kimono. This man, who had been locked out of his house, offers Shimana a place to stay. However, he requests she fulfill three conditions in exchange for her tenancy!?

My review:

1. The art style:

Huge plus of this manga is the art style. Each characters is well drawn and every details are precise. The background effects are also really really, i don't know how to describe, "blink blink"? („ಡωಡ„) And I love the color pages of the manga too, they're so cute and the small icons are just so so so so so lovely (*ﾉωﾉ) Yume miru taiyou might receive the award "shoujo with the best art style" in my opinion :D

Rating: 10/10 (Arrrrghh am I too easy?)

2. The plot:

I advice you guys not to skip this manga at the first 10 chapters because (I PROMISE) it will be a lot more interesting and intense as the story goes. Reasons why? Because on those first chapters, the reason why Shimana- the main heroine- packed her luggages is not clear and there might be some people (especially people with old-minded) will not agree to let a teen girl to just go out of her house and rent in a apartment with 3 more boys. But ignore those small details, the story itself is creative and promising.

There are 4 main characters in the manga: Shimana, Zen, Asahi and the landlord which is Taiga.

Shimana is not different from the typical shoujo main girls. She's cute, optimistic, always having fun but sometimes overeacting and rather holds all the feelings to herself than share it to the people surrounding her. However, I like her because she's straightforward. If she loves Taiga, then Taiga is the only person on her mind 24/7. There is no replacement, only true feelings.

And next is the male characters. My favourite one is Taiga, he is the main male character of the manga and contributes the most for the intense of the plot. Although at first he was so so cold and doesn't know how to treat a lady (which made Shimana cried and ran out of the house for like 3 or 4 times), his personalities develope the most along the story. He became cuter and cuter, however he is still not as soft as Asahi, but at least his feelings for Shimana are real. I really love Taiga cause I prefer cold and sadistic male characters, who has a cold appreance but warm heart!

Zen is also has a crush on Shimana but I don't like him as much as Taiga because he is too childish and immature. He is not interesting and too easy to guess.

Overall, I love the plot. It's really new and interesting. Each chapters are so intensive which made the readers to curious and want to read more.

Rating: 9/10

In conclusion,...

TRY THIS MANGA OUT GUYS! I promise it won't let you guys down. This is one of my most favourite manga ever!!!

Oh so it's one of those manga where the first half is bad and then it's supposed to get good. So how does it stand out from the other 3000 shojo romances out there?
