Café D’ Asie is just plain superb. Very friendly and accommodating staff; good ambiance; platters and servers were refilled every time; and the food were all exquisitely prepared.

At first I wondered why there were so many seafood and very little chicken, pork, and beef. I forgot that I was in a seafood buffet 😂 Café d’ Asie elevated my standards of what Seafood Buffet should be.

Scattered around me were fresh and cooked seafood! I’m not talking about the usual buffet seafood where there’s only a few pieces of tiny shrimps, a little of crab, some cream dories, and no more. Here, you’ll have GIGANTIC seafood of different kinds. They’re too big you won’t even see it in Dampa.

-FRESH SELECTIONS-
For the fresh seafood, they have big prawns, lobsters, clams, oysters, mussels, tuna, salmon, and a wide range of fishes I’m not familiar with (the important thing is that their delicious. LOL 😂). You may request these to be cooked your way or. I suggest trying the lobsters baked and with cheese; then the shrimp with butter and garlic.

These ^^^ came from the seafood selections. We had the shrimp and lobster (first photo at the very top) baked with cheese, butter, and garlic. For the salmon, we requested SINIGANG.

-SALAD-
The salad bar was phenomenal! It tastes so good as though you’re not eating salad. You can do it your way or ask that it be mixed for you. Either ways, you have the freedom to put whatever you want INCLUDING THE BACON FROM THE BREAD SECTION and the different kinds of CHEESE beside it which (I guess) forms part of the bread section too. Your food, your rules.

-BREAD SECTION-
There’s 7-10 kinds of bread prepared by their chef. Baguettes are freshly sliced upon request while the others are small enough for one person.

-SUSHI BAR-
There’s roughly around 12 from this section but I only tried their smoked fish sushi since the rest are mostly raw. It was also a good choice, very smoky and flavorful and not too big for one bite.

-COOKED FOOD-
There were about 15 cooked dishes and my top 5 are: the hakaw-like dish with steamed bokchoy, Tuna with Mango Salsa, beef from the carving station, pesto, and the embutido looking dish from the separate displayer. Try everything, they all look good and everything that I tried were really tasty.

-DESSERTS-
The center display table has around 20 or more desserts. There were tiny cakes, tarts, eclairs, and others. I only tried their three-fruit tart since I’m not into sweets. It was either a lucky choice because it was unexpectedly super yummy or maybe, everything on the display counter tastes as good as they look. BTW, they have Arcy Dairy Ice Cream on the side near the tables at the back of a big post (I think there’s 12 flavors available).

Literally everything that I’ve tried at Café d’ Asie were really good. And again, they're all mabait. Bring your friends and family here. It’s definitely worth the money.
