They have about half the people who gave emails verify. Is that because of their verification process or because a lot of those people simply signed up with their email and lost interest in the 4-6 weeks before the wallets were set up.
There are also people who were in the Ekata wallet system (like me) who havent had their coins transfer over.
And the dashboard is still missing parts of it being activated.
They set a goal of March 1 distribution and they hit that...so that is the positive. Like STEEM, it is no longer a theory...they distributed tokens to anyone who verified...
Now it is time for them to spend the next week clearing up some things....
Nothing major that interrupt the project, just typical technical stuff....snafus in the system.
Ah yes. I actually thought when I was signing up that they made it really not obvious how to complete the process. It's one thing to give your email and verify to the point you can log in. But then you have to know to click through to the extra section to sign up for the actual UBI airdrops with your address. I wonder how many people didn't even realize they never finished the process.
Anyway, as you say, at least it is now something happening, despite there being much to still work out. Thanks for the insight.
A big part of the problem is they didnt complete the process until the wallets were completed so people had to wait weeks to complete.
Like you said, by then they might have even forgotten about it.
Now that some token went out, hopefully we will see some of them verify and add to the pool.
We need more wallets out there to kick off the network effect.
