Hello! Goodmorning/ Good afternoon hivers it's been a while since I posted my 2nd blog ,I hope you all doing doing great with your lives today.
For today's blog we will not talk about my crochet stuff maybe in my next blog we will talk about it.So today I will be sharing you all the unfold beauty of Museum De NAGA CEBU together with my colleague,let's discover how they preserve the unique antiques and cultures from the ancestors left during civilizations and ancient times.Look how fantastic it is my fellow hivers , imagine despite of how old those antiques nagahanon still preserve it so that young generation still able to witness and forsee the unfold beauty of Museum de naga Cebu.So what are we waiting for, lets go my Crafthy hivers,come with me as I take the adventure of the unfold beauty of Museum De NAGA CEBU.
Naga museum is located in Central poblacion besides naga board walk as you visit their you will see a two story house with old designs of materials like if you see it you will say that " wow I might traveling to ancient times".
Upstairs there are 3 rooms where they display the antiques of Nagahanon .Before we go inside and explore the beauty we should know first their rules for us also to guide what are do's and don'ts inside the museum.The rules are : For dos
1 : you can take pictures
2: you can touch them except for thos antiques inside the protected glass
For donts
1 .don't take pictures with flash
- observe silents
3 listen to the facilitators
First room,in the first room you will see the whole map of naga City Cebu ,types of rocks, different trees, the train in tinaan,and lastly the apo cement
. Ate said ,the earth is 43 billion years old I guess so and of course many formation change.Me and my friends are amazed how beautiful it is.one thing cought my eyes is a tree that can be eaten the name of the tree is fern ,the baby fern and also in our language we call it (lumut)bisaya ,in English ( moss) in my entire life I didn't know that thing is can be eat
.Incredible right hivers? Next,the apo cement before apo cement use abaca materials for their sacks and now they use plastics.
.Lastly,the train in " Tinaan Naga City Cebu this is the first train build in Cebu city the rout is from Naga City Cebu to Argao Cebu bound to south part,until now the train station and the rails ( rilis)are still alive but the train station they used as the slaughter house for the pigs.
Second room,in the second room the preserve cultures and antiques are placed it their like how they make the pot ( colon) or the bangga in English (ancient jars)
Ate said that in brgy colon the villagers their used to make pots and the women their they call them as ungo or aswang in bisaya language because they have no time to fix themselves they are busy doing pots or colon that is why they come up the idea or the name of the brgy colon because the villagers their are the maker of the pots.i was shock how they told the history and the legend behind it .
.Next on is the national clothes we call it " barong Tagalog( male) and barong de saya ( female)
. Ate said that during ancient times to make it more beautiful clothes they use turmeric as colors for the barong ,and that is produced by villagers living in brgy Tinaan Naga City Cebu.
Third room ,in the third room we explore the history leaders of Naga City Cebu from first mayor to present mayors
and also we can view the old documents that they have I can't exactly tell what are those documents but for sure those are for Naga City Cebu projects and so on.
Me and my friends are enjoying the beautiful set up of the study area including the arrangements of books and old stuff.
Look how amazing those things are ,so you see preserving antiques from our ancestors is a great thing so that young generations like me are able to witness the beauty of history,how they begin? , why they have that thing? ,why they come up that kind of idea?.You know hivers the questions inside in our mind,?
Together with my lovely friends,we explore the unfold beauty of Naga City Cebu as we embrace our own culture and appreciate the unique beauty and the story behind it.
