RE: Market Friday Doesn't Go Shopping

in #marektfriday5 years ago

It's true! All of the above! The streets are empty, even here in Washington, DC... Can you believe it?

Except at the Tidal Basin. The darn tourists are still coming!! I won't go down there. I walk on by. That is a first.

Different stores put hand sanitizer in different places. Costco and other stores here put it in the health and beauty. One place put it in the soap aisles. I just don't want to spend any time there. I want out as nobody knows how to keep the correct social distance.

The birds are louder, the flowers prettier and life is so peaceful if it weren't for this dang pandemic hanging over our heads. Right? Keep safe and stay away from the stores. Order off Amazon for God's sake.

We don't need to hear about you getting sick. :(

Thanks, Denise. I won't go back to a Costco again till this is all over. They were rioting over toilet paper last week, it's just insane! Some local distilleries have apparently started to manufacture hand sanitizer. Cathy and I go out for walks a few times per day. You should see us zigzag down the road, crossing to the other side any time someone threatens to come within 50 yards of us! I notice other people doing the same thing now. Honestly, I'm very scared by all this.

You should be practicing exactly the social distancing that you are. I stocked my pantry and paper supplies (I get them every six months, I hate shopping for them) almost a month ago, so I am all good.

Glad you and Cathy are keeping up the exercise! I hope you are punching an extra dose of vitamin C and maybe some Elderberry... and your multivitamin at least. :)

Keep safe and just know that you are in my thoughts.
