In this article we will be breaking down some pre conceived ideas of how marijuana affects the average person today, and how it can be good and bad to assist you or to hold you back. I am writing it to help establish the fact that you can be anybody you want to be. If your cousin’s brothers niece’s nephew had a bad run in with marijuana, that doesn’t mean you have to too. Just because someone gets in a car accident every day, doesn’t mean you are going to sell your car tomorrow does it? The point is not to live in fear.
If you want to try something, try it. But do it for you, feel it for yourself, enjoy your own experiences and allow them to internally shape you free of restriction and societies tale of how your story should be written. This is to breakdown the taboo of any and all experiences in your life that anyone has told you is “a bad idea”, or “is too hard”. Inevitably we trust our friends and family, but the truth is no body, not even a doctor or psychologist can interpret someone’s life experiences better than oneself.
There has been a long associated taboo with marijuana that has never seemed to dissipate fully. I think it’s important we shed some light on the different types of attitudes/mentalities one can experience and embrace when using marijuana. I’d like to shed some light on the positive takes from the cannabis plant and to point out that sometimes negative situations arise out of user error not the plant itself.
Ex:
A business executive and a “stoner” both receive the same benefit from the cannabis plant, let’s say an energetic, uplifting, creative boost in which both recipients can choose to do so with how they please.
A business executive may smoke a joint in the morning to spark his awareness on what he needs to accomplish for the day, and to help him think a bit more out of the box than in a typical “cookie cutter mindset”. They wouldn’t go to work high nor would they be trying to sneak a hit of weed because they needed it that bad during work hours (unless your name rhythms with Khalifa).
A stoner may smoke a joint to relax watch some Netflix and chill a bit. Maybe smoke another joint in an hour or so and continue to do so. They would most certainly go to work high, even if it meant they risk their employment.
If you take the marijuana away from the business exec then he just losses his “boost”(an addition)
If you take the marijuana away from the stoner, he doesn’t know the next step because the weed is always the first step to any activity. There’s a bit of dependency involved.
This is not to take a stab at anyone or to put a name on so called “stoners” but is more to show that you can use marijuana and other mind altering things to help excel you and they don’t have to be a bad thing. Let’s face it , too much of anything can be bad. Vitamin C is “good for you but if you eat all the tablets at once, you may not feel so good.
If you feel like you use marijuana out of necessity or dependency, try using it as a reward sometime while working on something productive, like while doing chores around the house and reward yourself with a fatty! = ]
