Cambodian police have destroyed 12,813 Marijuana plants but failed to find the culprits who were growing the weed. The plants were found in the province of Takeo, the plants were found in 43 locations in the mountain area.
In this province alone the police have destroyed a total of 134,882 plants so far. The villagers grow this plant for cash even though they know it is illegal to grow it.
Cambodia is well known for its lax ways on Marijuana; in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Sihanoukville, happy pizza restaurants sell pizzas topped with weed along with happy milkshakes, Marijuana joints can be bought with relative ease in many bars.

Many think it is "high time" to fully legalize Marijuana in Cambodia and attract millions more tourists to the Kingdom.
