The High Cost of Medical Marijuana and Hypocrosy of our Government

I'm a disabled 59 year old woman and have been in severe pain for many many years with no relief from shots, braces or the terrible addictive pills they give you! Not to mention that they are highly addictive and people are dying so much that the morgues in some cities are overcrowded from it, like Jacksonville earlier this year! But the one thing that has helped recently is trying Medical Marijuana that a friend of mine had a prescription for. Now my friend has: White Matter Disease, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Post Tramatic Stress Disorder and Depression and has quit all medications so far after only a month except her Depression medicine.

So needless to say I have been looking into Medical Marijuana and can't believe how high the cost is. How in the world are low income people supposed to pay almost $300 to the Dr. then around $750 for a 45 day supply of the medicine? This is criminal! But of course the government allows it to happen. All because the pharmacuetical companies give more money to our Government than just about anyone. They have paid over 8 billion dollars to the FDA just for drug approvals since 1992.

It is so wrong on so many levels to be able to have insurance that will pay for these Dr.s and Pharmecuetical Companies for their drugs, (even ones that kill you) but not for a God given plant that they have proven does so many beneficial things! Of course some of the Government admits that it cures cancer and has other benefits but then the other half doesn't. What a crock of crap! What can they truly say wrong about marijuana? Nothing! Nada! Zero deaths, zero overdoses, no full morgues, no families torn apart from drug use and addiction! My goodness what a thought that it actually is not a Schedule 1 drug!

And the war on this supposed Schedule 1 drug all these years, all the money spent on the program, all because of Big Pharma and Duponts, the Paper Mill Industry and several other factors! Do a little research on how it became a Schedule 1 drug to begin with back in the late 60's. Before that of course it was in so many different medicines and used in so many ways. Especially Hemp! Hemp would have hurt the paper mills and so much more so they stopped it! You don't even get high off of Hemp, think about it. Why would they say Hemp is a Schedule 1 drug when you can't even get high off it? Because of all the other properties it has which would hurt the businesses that were already here! When will it ever stop?
I am in pain 24/7 and haven't enjoyed my life in many years but I can't get any help because of all this and it really makes me mad! I have Grandchildren that I can't do things with that they are also missing out on. I can't even keep my house clean good and that bothers me a lot. I don't think it's fair that if I bought marijuana that I could afford, I could go to jail, when God put it here to begin with! I talked to my pain Dr. about it yesterday when I went to get my measly 2 Lortabs a day prescription and he couldn't belive it when I told him the cost of the Medical Marijuana! He even gave me suggestions not caring if I stopped going to him to get pain pills, love him! Just sad that the meds really offer no relief, but if it's really killing me I have to take both of the ones I get a day at one time! So wrong on so many levels!

The next question is what can we do about it? Do your research and then speak up America! Why should we let them keep holding us down because of money? Why should people be dying because of a company who sells severely addictive pills? Why should we put up with not being able to use something totally natural that would really help with so many ailments? Look up some videos of children with epilepsy that are on so many pills for their seizures that they can't talk or walk but still have seizures, then they get the Medical Marijuana Oil and are talking and walking again and alert! Look up videos of people who's cancer was cured by it! Wake up Amercia and don't let them do this to us! We deserve much better than what we're getting! And this isn't a President thing it's a Government thing! Why can't we grow our own marijuana? What is it hurting? I'll tell you who it would hurt, it would hurt Big Pharma and Big Companies! Who has so much control over Government? You got it, Big Pharma and Big Companies!
