So I sat here trying to decide on a name for steemit, and I felt that since my favorite song is
Insane in the membrane by cypress hill. I may as well call myself insane. Who knows at the end of a long day, some may think I fit that name quite well. I love to sit and listen to this song, even now after all these years! I found this video on youtube, and I wanted to share it here.

Damn, JOE! No more for you!
This song reminds me of the first time I took a hit off of my very first joint! I was sitting with a group of friends outside of the school, not quite at the front doors but pretty damned close, we were kids we didn't give a damn. It was around 7 pm too, so no worries on being caught by a teacher or anything.
So here we are 5 young kids sparking a doob. Thinking we were the coolest kids in town. Joe, the dude next to me hits the joint like he was about to Monica Lewinsky that shit. He passes it to me, and let me tell you this thing had so much spit on it, I started to wonder if he was Monica lol. I wipe Joe's spit off the end of the joint and proceed to take my hit. Just when I get it up to my mouth, a car pulls up...
Oh shit...It's an officer of the law!
We all started to run. I was a chubby kid back then, so I didn't get too far.
The cop runs up behind me and grabbed my jacket, I wiggled out of that thing like it was on fire!!! I don't know how I did it but I got away from him that day but I did. I walked home after sitting in the woods for about an hour. It was pretty late and I get home and my mom was sitting there waiting on me, as I walk in the door she started yelling at me telling me she couldn't believe I was smoking Pot! I looked at her and was like are you insane! I would never do that!

Well apparently, the officer caught up with dear ol Joe and Joe tells him everyone's names and addresses! I was so pissed. I kept telling my friend Sammy that this dude was bad news, and guess what I was right!
I was sent to my room by my mother, and I turned on my radio and put my headphones on, and this very song came on the radio. From then on I was hooked On both! The greatest song from the 90s and the sweet Maryjane!
After all these years, still illegal mostly!
It amazes me that marijuana has been deemed illegal for some time now in the US. Yes, there are some states who are decriminalizing it but it is still holding so much stigma, that there are people now that are trying to keep the greatest plant on earth ILLEGAL!
