Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced yesterday that marijuana will be legal in Canada starting on Oct. 17. Residents will be able to order cannabis through the mail. Additionally, there will be government run stores with legal access to banks, with Ontario opening up 150 stores under the Liquor Control board starting by selling dry herb, wax, and seeds. Canada's federal minimum age will be 18, and price per gram will be about $10 with a 10% tax.Β
