The US, Europe, China (Just about all governments) are well past the point of no return. This is the greatest monetary experiment in the history of the world. Its mind numbing. No President, Republican, Libertarian or Democrat can solve it. Promises well exceed the ability to repay them, and its only a matter of when and which major currency will be first since they are all connected. All of these fiat currencies are going to experience extreme inflation or get replaced. The only thing we citizens can do is buy gold and other non-dollar denominated alternative assets, keep our local communities and families as safe as possible and grab a bucket of popcorn and watch the insanity.
