You can see that for 2018 Bitcoin price has remained super stable around $6-8K. Haha Bitcoin hasn't even gone down to $2K. If Bitcoin goes down to $50 then yes it's probably being controlled. But with such a steady price just forget it. Even if someone did control it why does it matter? Everyone will make money eventually. Just relax. Haha. Have some time perspective.
