Thanks for posting this. The Bitcoin scene in the Philippines is fascinating. I'm new to the Bitcoin conversation, and I still have a lot to learn, but it's cool to hear about the many ways different people are using the currency. Being from the States where it's fairly common to have a bank account and where many people can get some line of credit (although with terrible terms and fees) it's easy to forget that this isn't an option or reality for everyone...
