Thoughts on Ripple?

Do you think it could be the fall of cryptocurrency?

I've heard some people say this now and as an investor, I am curious to see why some may believe this. I do understand how banks are corrupt but what I don't is how they could possibly end the cryptoworld. All of these other cryptos, like ethereum, steem, litecoin, all run on separate blockchains.

It's almost half the market cap of Bitcoin which is obviously our number 1 currency. What will happen when they lock up the 38 billion(I think is the number) into a escrow account? It will clearly knock BTC out of first sitting XRP in the driver seat with a $185,831,738 market cap. That's HUGE considering BTC's market cap is just be 32 million.

I just want to disclose that I am in this to make a buck, of course I wouldn't want to see crytocurrencies be destroyed by the banks. I value your opinions so please let me know what you think!

Very good article. Interesting to see I'm not the only one that is thinking about this. The crypto space brings the biggest group of uneducated investors with it. This group will only grow. We really need more insights in the market and previous investment results (even though they don't deliver any guarantee for the future). I really advice people to take a look at: https://www.coincheckup.com They give great insights in the team, the product, advisors, community, the business and the business model and other techincal insights. For example: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Ripple#analysis To watch Ripple Report.
