Here I am again in the old market, close to my home. The market is unchanged in conception and relationships between people. Modernism has affected it here and there but not decisively! Now every seller has a cell phone, many have cars to bring their goods, but in essence, the relationship between them and the buyers is the same for decades. They want to sell expensive and buyers ... to buy cheaper! About the best time to go to the market, anytime except the end of the week...Friday is fine, but only in the morning! What can we buy?

🍅🍉 Vegetables; Fruits ...
⚠️ ... Garlic, here I have to meet @dutchess , I promised!
🐝 Also, here we can buy honey and other bee products:
😵 Pedlary: ...... Ohh, I'm here, shadow right down!
🐤 ...and even small animals and birds:
🕒 Now I have to run home, it's Friday afternoon and it is more and more crowded!

I love your market place! It looks like the one in my home town half a year ago...the re-located it and now its getting lessand less. So sad....
Yes, so sad! That's why I also like the market near me. This neighborhood was inhabited by poor people but now things have changed, fortunately, the market has remained almost the same...Thank you for your comment!

The market near your house is wonderful! I must move to Romania! :) I am not kidding. You have a really wonderful selection of flowers there. You know I cannot resist the flowers. Obviously, neither can you! The sunflowers were so fresh and sunny looking, were they not? She sighs
Even the vegetable and fruits were amazing looking, I didn't spot any with bruising. Better than most supermarkets. No wonder they want premium prices. They look so good.
The markets are always so enjoyable to wander through. If I was there, it would be fun to stroll through with another person, taking my time, not wanting to miss anything. They make them fun to go to. Birds, honey, fruits and veggies! Who could ask for anything more!

I really regret that I answer so late ...what to say, I think you are too generous with the good words for my work ( this is not false modesty). About life in Romania: Romania is a beautiful country where the life is still cheap and many products are "natural and tasty" but I'm afraid that is not for long time. I like and respect your desire to move to Romania, there are a lot of to like but also there are facts, things you will not understand and not so good, as long you (people from west) are accustomed to justice, honor, duty, e.g.s. We need some more time to solve these problems. There are a lot of people without education, unfortunately. The lack of education = lot of problems! Sorry, I'm out of subject. The truth is ... if you are capable to see first the beauty that exist all around us than the life is beautiful! I remember I saw in one of your posts the title of a song of Satchmo Armstrong " What a Wonderful World"! I have a little story about: over 25 years ago I bought the house I live now(here near the market). The vendors was not so honest, they didn't payed the bills for a long time. I didn't know that. It was December, hard winter and we had the Electricity cut off! Me, my wife and my young sun, we spent three days and nights without light and in the cold. A friend gave us a portable radio with batteries... in the house was dark and cold, I turned on the radio and started a song: "What a Woderful Word"! It seemed to us the most beautiful music and it made us forget the difficult situation of that moment. It reminded us what I had forgotten at the time: that the life is really beautiful. I still think so!
That is a most wonderful reply from someone who obviously loves life. You are a kind, gracious man.
