For the second part of my adventure through Market Friday on the Far South Coast of NSW, we will finally arrive at the land of wonder (after buying all of that amazing handcrafted furniture on the way...😃..) through the glorious glass door to meet the lovely Pam, who shares her love of the local community with us.

These are pamphlets advertising a huge range of things to do around the entire area, such as whale watching in Eden, surfing at Tathra Beach, a cultural walk through indigenous Panboola, Oyster tours a Wonboyn Lake and so many other awesome activities in this gorgeous area.
And then what can I say.
I think that the following images speak for themselves.
The Bega Valley market place is a NON-PROFIT COLLECTIVE, so therefore, Pam and her team do not make any profits, therefore do not exploit any of the craftspeople, but instead support them in every way.
As a collective, each stall in the indoor market is held by a different creator and as such, each stall is completely different, as each item is completely unique.
All items are handcrafted by extremely talented people that have made their home in the valley.
Whether they come from a long line of locals, or whether that are new to the area, either way, the products that they make by hand are made with love.
And there is something in there to suit absolutely everyone too. Even your best friends!
There's something old and something new here too.
Some fabulous second hand goods- upcycled, as well as some vintage and antique goodies too!
From handmade gloves, scarves, soaps and shoes, honey, sauces, Jams, preserves, chutneys and marinades too, cards, books, buttons, bowls, bibs, bags, brushes, broaches, earrings and oils, puzzles, pillows, magnets and mittens,
There is something special in here for all.

Can you believe that all of this amazing, homemade, handcrafted stuff is in one indoor market!
I love this place so much!
And I love the fact that everything in there is handmade, and each piece will have it's own tiny, little flaw, unlike everything that is perfectly made by robots, or slave labour in a factory- which makes that product, literally one-of-a-kind!
Not only that, but I am supporting the locally community and this one has been blasted by both mindblowing bushfires and floods in the last couple of years!

yes there certainly is and yes I certainly do!
Infact I go there to get specific things- like the sauces and jams and then end up buying everything else, but as I was drafting this post, I was also seeing things in the photos and I'm like crap, how did I miss that! cause I certainly would have bought it if I hadv'e seen it then and there.
But ateast I'll be going back at xmas for a few days anyway, so hopefully that gorgeous purple knitted jack/shawl thing will still be there for me! 😃
What a great find of a shop that was.
I like stuff like that, especially where I can find vintage and handmade items. They have an eclectic mix of stuff which could easily make it a one-stop shop. Awesome!
Yes it is a gorgeous place to be and if I had the money I would be buying so much in there!
I always make it a habit to go in a check it out when I'm up at home so lucky I'm going back in December cause I saw a purple crocheted shawl in the photos that I (sort of) hope will still be there when I get back up!
And as a one stop shop- they often get fresh fruit in their too!

Such a great place and so much to see. It’s nice they support the local crafts in every way.

Yes it surely is an enchanting experience being able to wander through the treasure chest of creativity.
And yes, Pam and her furry, four legged shop asssistant Holly are both gorgeous ladies too, which make it all the more enjoyable to visit too.
