I thought for #marketfriday that I would show off some holiday decor that I photographed on two recent visits to Cracker Barrel.
Halloween! You're up! π
Here are my two favorite Halloween items. The first one is just cute and who doesn't love some bats, moons and stars?! The second is this little glitter piece with trees, birds and a skull but they lost me with the skull.
I did very much like this moon glitter lamp but they must have just turned it on so I didn't get to see it all glittered up. Not so much a holiday item but maybe an Autumn item. They were sold out of them on my second trip.
They had a few items for Thanksgiving. I was glad to see that as Thanksgiving doesn't really get that much attention compared to Halloween and Christmas.
Some Autumn decor as well will work for Thanksgiving!

I love seeing the items they offer for the holidays on display! I was also looking to see if they might have another type of glitter lamp like Mr. Pumpkinman. Some of you have met him already and if you haven't then you will probably see him on Halloween when he makes his brief once a year visit. I'm planning a full week of Halloween related posts for Halloween week! The closest thing I found though was this sad looking Mr. Snowman but it looks like he may have snowflakes instead of glitter. Maybe he has both but it hadn't warmed up yet to see it fully working.
There were really only two items that I was even tempted to purchase but one in particular was this piece. It is a frosted crackle glass lamp which is kinda' simple and is why I love it! It just has an old timey look to it. I'm still tempted to get it but will try not to give in as I'm at a point in my life of moving "things" out and not acquiring more!
This is the other item that I really liked. These glass Christmas trees. I don't think my photo does it justice though. I believe they had these last year also and I admired them then as well.
The glitter lamp part of this next item does very much resemble the glittery part of Mr. Pumpkinman.
I think this piece is cute! How much you wanna bet it plays "Let It Snow"? What? No takers! Lol..I don't know that it does as I didn't get to press the button as I was in the way of people who weren't taking photos but my guess is it plays the song "let It Snow". I still have that song stuck in my head and now you probably do as well..lol. You're welcome! π€£
They did have quite a few glitter lamps that I admired. Here are a few that I photographed.
My last three photos didn't have glitter lamps but they did still have lots of glitter! π

I love seeing all the Halloween decorations, Dee and although Christmas is a little ways away, those items are beautiful. I would have spent all day looking around. π β₯οΈ π
Thanks so much Jo!! I think I missed out seeing some of the Halloween items due to the timing I went but I also saw new stuff on the second visit. They always have new stuff coming in and it's fun just to see it and not necessarily buy. Their displays always look so nice and I sure enjoy seeing them.π

Oh my goodness! You totally win when it comes to cool stuff for Halloween! I actually do not go to Cracker Barrel and so I am surprised that they have so many things in their little gift store. My grandmother swore by Cracker Barrel when she was traveling. And then again my children tell me that I better not be seen going in there because they only have blue plate specials oh, and I believe that they mean that they are talking about the little old ladies with blue hair. At least that's what I think. Now I know for a fact that you do not have blue hair but perhaps one of these days I'm going to have to go in and peruse the lights of a Cracker Barrel.
All of that beautiful Christmas decoration, I did like the Autumn but I was immediately moved to Christmas when I saw it, all of that beautiful sparkly glittery wonderful stuff that you know I never get enough of! Great pictures, great commentary, great post! I love when you post into Market Friday because you always make it such a joy to walk through your post with you. So, I want to thank you for taking the time and the effort to photograph it and put it together and I also wish you a most wonderful day!
