RE: The Fair That Stands In The Shadow Of The Communist Monster

in #marketfriday5 years ago

I am so happy to go to the Christmas Market for the very first time and to bring me along with you. You know that I can't resist a little bit of Christmas.

I actually did not know that you're part of my building was the second largest in the world. I can tell you that I have walked miles and miles of quarters in the Pentagon and yes, for such a small country king size it's amazing that the building is so big. That tells you something about Ceausescu 's ego.

I remember the day he was executed, as a matter fact it was Christmas Day. I can understand not being able to love the building that is part of the man himself and I know how much you loved the politics of today! But you are right! The fair has nothing to do with it! I do believe that the Parliament building is going to be the bane of your existence!

I love the Little booths that they have when you go in. They remind me so much of the Christmas Market in Germany. What beautiful plates are offered up each and every single one of them so unique! I love the tree one and the Brewster of course. And the pottery. Such a splendid selection of everything. As I'm reading this I'm trying to press my nose forward to get closer to my screen. LOL I do like the brass work did the gypsies do and of course the traditional Hungarian clothing. I'm pretty sure that the only people buying them are probably foreign tourists and possibly somebody who has Hungarian in them.

The food is amazing looking. I'm sure the prices are peppery because they always are but they look delicious. You cannot eat me? I hope this is something that is not permanent. But I like fish so and smoked fish is even better. I should tell you that I'm not really huge on sweets but oh wow something for the children! We have been having on seasonably warm weather also and as matter of fact Christmas was like a spring day and so will the rest of the week. Mulled wine is something that almost every Christmas Market has and it's so strong and it'll knock you silly. The cheese pie looks delicious you did not go see Santa Claus! How will you ever get what you want if you don't go visit him. They really had such beautiful decorations in the home place and who does not love a carousel? I want to thank you so much for bringing us along with you to the Christmas Market. It was wonderful, it was beautiful, it was amazing and I'm glad you brought us. Thank you so much Dan for being you and for being part of the challenge.

#MarketFriday loves you!

I'm so glad you found so many things to like on my Christmas blog ... because I wrote more for you and your passion for the Christmas holiday. When you talk about Christmas I see the child in you, nothing is more beautiful than a child's soul!
I apologize, @dswigle, for the response so late, but I think you know what the busy days have been in the last week.
