The daily menu of Poles consists of several cult items. Polish dishes are prepared according to old tried and tested recipes. Hard to find in the traditional Polish menu some fancy dishes. In fact, the list of dishes eaten on a daily basis is quite short and there is no room for experiments.
Although the traditional Polish diet is limited and relatively divergent, it turns out that not all Poles are prejudiced for novelty. We are a curious nation, we are interested in different flavors and culinary traditions. However, the courage to experiment in the kitchen, mostly young Poles. It is they who give vent to their fantasies in the kitchen, cooking dishes inspired by the cuisine of the world.
The Oscypek is made in the hall, where after milking the sheep the rabbit passes milk through the linen cloth to get rid of the impurities. Then it pours it into the vat and adds rennet (which cuts the milk). This creates a cheese mass that can be molded (in a highlander) into any shape. Then just another day in brine, which has bactericidal properties and the final process, ie smoking in spruce or pine smoke. The specimen must be spindle and weigh 60 to 80 dag and measure from 17 to 23 cm.

This is fabulous and I just love the chubs and I married into a Polish family and had the salt and drink for the wedding and good luck! The grandma and her sister only spoke polish, so it was a learning experience. We have been to Poland several time and a lot more when we lived in Europe. His family was from Lublin and we spent a lot of time in Krakow, which we loved.
