Happy Friday folks! It's time to end off the week with another quick visit to one of the great stores I am so thankful to have access to in my town. My visit may not give you as much travel envy as our host, @dswigle, did on her journey today for #marketfriday, but I am sure a few of you may enjoy the options I saw at Nature's Pick this past week. :)
This store is pretty similar to Life Grocery, which I showed you all in a previous post. No complaints from me that I have multiple options to fuel my plant-powered kitchen! I have only been in here twice, but it's a great little shop. The owners seem really friendly and the store is spotless! To be fair it is pretty new, but I still very much appreciate when a proprietor keeps such a high level of cleanliness regardless of how new the fixtures are. Much like Life, this market does not have a huge produce section but what they have is mostly local. They have a fresh juice and smoothie bar which I have not tried yet, so no pics on that section this time around.
One of my favorite sections is the cleaning and personal care products. They have one of the best selections for natural, eco-friendly and cruelty-free items that I have seen. Of course some of the items are a little bit pricey, but they are pretty right on with how they compare to other stores with similar products.
If you checked out my homemade bread I posted earlier in the week, this is where I got the flour. They have a great end cap full of sprouted flours and grains! I will definitely come back to try the sprouted pea flour some time, too. ;)
They also have a nice little spice section that you can get small amounts of spices and other items. I saw they had beet powder, so I may need to get some of that to try making some pink muffins for my niece's second birthday.
And of course, the spot I always find something I need...
I stocked up on some nooch (nutritional yeast) and black rice this time around, but I am starting to get low on my beans and lentils. I will return in the next week or two to restock on some more bulk goods!

It is very helpful to have such a store near you. What a surprise, my wife prefers the same as you cleaning and personal care products. That's where most money goes when we go to the supermarket.
Haha, yeah we ladies like our personal care products! I do try to use homemade cleaners like vinegar and baking soda based stuff to save money, but it's nice to have options for quality products I can't easily make at home.
Yes...and are very nice smells but I think your homemade are better.

This one is very nice. Like, it has everything we need. Multiple choices and great selections for natural, eco-friendly and cruelty-free items, as you mentioned, for us Vegan girls! Superb

What a fantastic store, and all natural too! It is hard to find it here unless I am willing to spend an arm and a leg. Their spice jars are so adorable..
I definitely can't afford to do all my shopping there, but it's great for specialty items!
