Church Bazaar

IMG_8713.jpg
My sister's church had a bazaar, on last Saturday, as a fund raiser and I decided to go and support them. They had one long tent on the one side, with some food carts and gazebo's arranged in a u-shape where people from the church sold some home made stuff. They also had a white elephant section where unwanted but usable goods were sold. There also were a number of tables selling food, below is some ladies baking and selling pancakes!! My wife was not well, but she gave me an order to bring home some pancakes, which I duly did, they were delicious.

Just look at the beautiful sweats table below!!

I was there early as I helped set up some stalls, but early on the coffee trailer was already a hit!!

They also had a motorized lawnmower pulled train, which the kids loved.

I bought some compost for the garden as well as some strawberry plants to plant. Hopefully I will have some nice strawberries to eat soon!!

I hope you liked my post as much as I enjoyed writing it!!

It seems a nice experience! Moreover, you made a nice choices and I hope we can see seeding of these plants in 2019 as well!@rynow,

Cheers~

Great job on setting up the stalls! What a meaningful event you have, thanks for sharing the pictures as it is interesting to see a church event from another country.

You really had a nice and enjoyable time out in the bazaar, I also love pancakes because they taste delicious to eat

And these ones were really good, it always seems to me that these older ladies, just know how to get them 100%.

One of the most beautiful

I like they call the section "white elephant" 🐘

Any specific reason for that? Bazaars are awesome, I love to join in on them in my own country whenever I get a chance!

"White elephant" is basically something that is useless or unused, thus people donate the stuff they don't use, and other people buys it as they might still have use for it!!

I like the bazaars because you spend a nice day and contribute to a noble social work, in addition to eating home-made food and especially sweets, I hope your wife is recovered and I regret this indisposed, best regards friend @rynow

Thank you for the nice comment, she is still suffering to rid herself of the flew, this year we have a very stubborn flew in South Africa. I also love all the food!!
