I share my posts on Facebook. I was using Google+ for a while too, but that's dead now. I also used to use Twitter, but I think they banned me for taking part in an airdrop promotion that turned out sour. Who knows they won't tell me. I want to make another account, but they can just ban that too. Such a great business model to ban people without warning or recourse. Steem is so much better. If I do something stupid no one can ban me and my reputation will just suffer. No kidding most people stick with Steem when they find out about it.
There is other social media like Reddit, too. Then there are ones that are popular in specific countries.
I think it is also a huge plus if curators share off Steem, especially when they pick out a lot of good posts from Steem.
