What is a Drip Campaign?

Drip campaign is a very effective and useful tool for marketers. These campaigns get triggered by the initial engagement of the subscriber. In simple terms, it is a series of emails that follow the first contact email in a measured interval. Drip campaigns help you create a build up and also know your subscribers more before you can start selling them your service or product. Here are some benefits for using the drip system.

Tripping on a Drip Campaign

A drip campaign can be set up and executed in many different ways. You need to decide

  • Respective mails that are to be sent to your subscribers
  • Content for those respective emails
  • Chronological order of those mails

  • Third Step: Schedule your sending, by hour, day, week, or some action taken by the subscriber
  • Repeat steps two and three for the follow ups.
