If it was in the tech world, they'll use refurbished but I will use rebuild for this description. Hubby's shoe used during our wedding started showing signs of peeling off less than a year after our wedding, and because he loved the memories around it, he decided to just keep it as if it was some kind of exhibition material for a museum 🤣.
For me though, I gave my wedding footwear to my younger sister. However, seeing how attached hubby was to his shoe, I decided that a friend who was into sandals and shoes should should work on it. The photos below are from him after working on them. I unfortunately forgot to snap the shoes before his work.
Hubby couldn't believe it was same shoes if not for the shoe soles. I however decided to take some shots with my camera, to compare the image received with the package received. What do you think about it?
