Yoga can teach you how to breathe. In martial arts, you have to know how to breathe, breathing is the power. You can't hold your breath in martial arts training. Breathing gives you the energy to practice martial arts.
Mind is the operation system of your body. To have a sound mind, yoga and meditation help you a lot. It will help you to be more focus. Martial art training starts with warm up. At the end you also do some warm up exercises. You can do yoga instead.
To improve your balance, flexibility and strength, yoga is always there for you. And every martial artist knows it very well how important it is to have a good balance, flexibility and strength.
