My daughters friend is here and she is doing homework with my kid.
- Do you know math? She asked.
- Yes no problem I said, I was good at this some 20 years ago...
The problem was :
How long will it take for a space ship to travel 78 million km if the ship travels at 20 km/s?
The answer should be presented in days (24h)
Well we got that wrong...
He has to travel 78 000 000km, and he is going 20 km/s, so its 78 000 000/20 = 3 900 000 seconds , then you take that and transfer it to minutes by dividing by 60 , 3 900 000 / 60 = 65 000 minutes then to hours , 65 000 / 60 = 1083 hours , then days 1083 / 24 = 45 days
Correct! We missed to convert into minutes so that's why we got it wrong the first time 😂
The answer is 45.14 days, round it off, you'll get 45 days.
Don't know how you got the 45.14? It's exactly 45 days
Edit :it's 45,138888888888 You are right also 😬
