I absolutely agree @stellabelle
I look forward to quitting my day job using both the steemit platform and few other side investments.

I"m not encouraging anyone to quit their day job! I needed to be clearer on this, because if you don't have a social group which is stable, it won't work well.....I need to write a part 2....about how to create or help build a community first before anything like quitting a job happens.
Yes, but I am encouraging people to do so once they are ready to do that. One of the signs of being ready is when people have steady income coming from their investments that cover their basic expenses. I promote entrepreneurship all the way.
Yes, well that is a different thing altogether. I don't want people who are barely scraping by to quit their jobs! Keeping one's income steady, and building something on the side is the ideal way. I wrote my entire book while working at a Toyota Dealership. To quit that job to be a "writer" would have been suicide.
What's the title of that book? Is it on amazon? I would like to read it.
here's my book on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Crap-Your-Life-Navigating-Situations-ebook/dp/B017PBLZPA
I hardly ever pimp it, but for me, it was the turning point, when I chose myself, and realized I will never be happy until i free myself from wage slavery.
Great. I have the same philosophy. I'll get your book and read it and follow your work here. Thanks Stellabelle.
Thanks for asking! My book is full of brutality, as I didn't hide anything while revealing the miserable situations of my life, and what i did to get out of them.
My upvote just paid for you to buy my e-book! :)
Thank you very much for that. I really appreciate it. I'll get the book and read it and will share with you my thoughts on it. I finished writing my first book and will be published in few weeks. I called it: "Starting the Startup". I'll let you know once its published and send you a gift copy :)
From experience, I totally agree that you should not quit your job until you have securely replaced you job income with your entrepreneurial income, as it puts too much pressure on you to perform. I thoroughly enjoyed your post. Thank you.
