RE: Media being media

I have never really been a fan of Raheem, he blows hot and cold and I don't think his as valuable as they make him out to be, of course under Pep his doing brilliantly well but the team also has a lot to do with that

I just think these kids are not mentally prepared for the money and attention they get once hte hit they big time and the lifestyle can quickly suck you in and you're influenced into doing all sorts of terrible things you will regret later in life

Sort:

Has he done any terrible things, though? I understand that for many new and young people making it big quick can be a shock but in this post I'm wondering if a lot of the thoughts we have of certain people have been built into us through the way media are portraying them without them having done anything to deserve it.

Well thats personal opinion depending on how concervative you are. Has he done things that so many non famous people do too? Not really, just that you're under a microscope with fame and with social media things can quickly get blown out of proportion and I wont lie lazy journalism is the key to a lot of these issues. All about selling clikcs and impressions really
