RE: Media Holdings

This is why those companies have about a 7% trust rating. We should not forget that other investors have stock in those companies, which increases the breadth of their interconnections with the economy.

I haven't had television since 2000, so maybe I'm just unaware of their impact due to my remove from it, but I do reckon most people get the basic information they believe elsewhere.

It is also just obsolete. Youtube, Facebook, Google, etc.. all being used to spy on their users, censored, and stuffed with propaganda, is a response to the practically universal rejection of the wholly owned media. Steemit is the mechanism able to counter that progression, as it is the people themselves that invest in media and content by curation, as well as post it themselves.

Rupert Murdoch et al just can't buy our posts.

The thought occurs to me that such media players are potential instawhales in the event Steemit comes on their radar. Flags from such robots as they might institute could censor this medium too. Astroturfing could impact us here.

Any thoughts?
