A lot of people go through insomnia or things that keep them up at night at some point of their life. Then there's also people who stay up or go with little sleep by choice like myself sometimes. But besides feeling groggy, there's much more to it.Sleep deprivation can lead to many problems, physically & mentally. Here's a list I put together for the symptoms.
PHYSICAL:
Risks of heart disease, heart attack & heart failure
Irregular heartbeat
High blood pressure
Stroke
Diabetes
Lower testoterone/ sex drive
Can cause weight gain
Age skin along with dark eyekids
MENTAL
Cause depression
Lack of focus/ ability to learn & process things
Being forgetful
Your alertness (ex: driving on the road or using machinery)
These are most of the cases stemming from a lack of sleep. But more severe cases can lead to even hallucinations or hearing things along with sleep paralysis.I've experienced all three of those before & it's far from cool. The shit is straight terrifying. So if you're dealing with sleep deprivation by choice or not, take these things into consideration & go to bed or get help from a doctor.
Don't be this guy....
It sounds like they wrote this about me, or was paranoia one of those symptoms. I only get 2 or 3 hours of sleep every night.
You can die if you stay up for more than 11 to 32 day's straight.
