Indian gooseberry

it's a medium sized plant that grows not more than 1 to 8 meters in height. it's flowers are greenish-yellow. In traditional Indian medicine, dried and fresh fruits of the plant are used. all parts of the Amla plant are used in various Ayurvedic  medicine herbal preparations, including the fruit, seed, leaves, root, bark & flowers.

Popularly used in inks, shampoos & hair oils.
