Why I decided to emigrate to Belarus

in #medicine3 years ago

Since I was in the kindergarten I knew that I would like to become a doctor, like my father is.

My plan to become a doctor did never change I went to the elementary school and finally to the high-school, my marks weren't great, but they also weren't bad. But to study medicine in Germany, I would have to be an honors student only with excellent marks.

That was the time I realized that I have a problem, how should I study medicine if my marks aren't great enough? The answer is you have to be brave. A German proverb says: where there is a will there is a way.

So when I was in the 10th grade I already decided to emigrate to another country.

When I was in Germany I only could speak German and Arabic language, broken English but no Russian at all.

But I still decided to choose a Russian country cause studying in Europe is very expensive. The first plan was Ukraine, but the plan changes due to political problems in Ukraine, the Russian language is no longer allowed in state institutions, so the decision was between Russia and Belarus, even if I preferred Russia, I chose Belarus because my friends don't need a visa from Germany to visit me.

And that's why I decided to emigrate to Belarus 😁

But is a medical degree from Belarus recognized in Germany?

Hey, thanks for your comment, its a bit difficult, yes its recognized in Germany but not 100%, when I get the diploma I have to write an licensing examination, but this is not so difficult because I speak German perfectly and it's just questions a med. Student should know. After I pass this examination I get the approbation and I'm allowed to start my internship to become a specialist like cardiologist or surgeon.
