Okay, I am not going to pretend that I know a dang thing about what you have going on here with the medicine cards because I don't.
But since we just found out that part of the Papper clan is part Cherokee Indian I figured I might better start learning a thing or two and there isn't a better place to start than right here with the resident Indian of the @thesteemengine, so I am on board now for the ride.
Hawks are messengers, I learned my first lesson.
We actually have a couple hawks that nest really close by and hunt in the pasture next to the house so I will be studying them more closely now. A few weeks ago I did see one swoop in and snatch a snake up and carry it off, that was quite a sight to watch.
I look forward to learning more.

@sultnpapper omg the term "lil peppers" has me like AWWWWWW
and i'm so glad to hear about your newfound tribal info, it is very exciting to learn and fun!
its a blessing to find ones ancestry and i wish you all many blessings along the way. "resident indian" is hilarious, some find that term insulting but i am okay with it. i'm fairly flexible and there are not so nice terms for what i am in the native american tribe but that is OK. i was not raised on a Rez and i have not undergone the many hardships many have. my father is still an elder and makes decisions for my tribe but they are very particular. anyhoo, i wish you the best and YES the hawk is spectacular and when i started my reading for this week it reminded me a lot of the eagle but slightly different. the hawk is in preparation for some news, and sure enough we got it with ned cashing out at 50% so, let us be prepared for what comes next. Blessings, eagle spirit
