Meditation helps you relax and clews your mind. I started meditating 1 year ago every morning, I instantly saw positive results.
Meditating helped me to focus on my goals, my diet and myself. However as the day wore on, I still found myself straying from my goals and eating unhealthy as well as drinking alcohol.
So for one week I tried to meditate throughout the entire day; 5 times 10 minutes each time.
Simply doing so helped immensely! It helped me to rethink and focus on my goals throughout the entire day. I ate better and did not drink alcohol. Because before each meal I could focus on my body and to think about how happy I would feel knowing I was finally taking care of it. My late night drinking and snacks stopped instantly.
Eating snacks and drinking alcohol late at night used to be a coping mechanism I would use to lighten my mood. Only problem was I woke up tired every day and I gained 30 pounds.
Now that I have incorporated mindful meditation for 10 minutes, 5 times a day, I am on track to be healthy and I am happy.
Try it and see for yourself, create your own schedule, but do it throughout the day.
