My son and I walk on the beach every day. Sometimes twice, sunrise and sunset. I find it helps to centre me for the day. Like you say, sort of a walking meditation. I really miss it on the days when I can't go, usually due to inclement weather. Sometimes at sunset we will sit and just watch the ocean. Very relaxing.
