Thus far in my time of solitary reflection, I had been focused so intently on discovering why past events or behaviors surfaced in such ways.
During meditation the other night, after feeling so spent from working through shadows, I felt pure love flow through me. A feeling that all is well and all will be well washed over my energy.
We are richly developed creatures, connected with ourselves and the universe with electromagnetic energy and light. This inner light cannot be taken away from us, even on our darkest days.
From below the clouds, a sky pregnant with heavy storms can feel oppressive and gloomy. From above the clouds, the sky remains a pulsing vibrant blue.
If we focus on why, we are analyzing and sending our energy to the unchangeable past experiences. If we focus on what we can do to overcome these obstacles, we move our focus from past to future. We see that the sky is still blue even when it’s covered from our view.
This month I’m meditating , working with tarot and journaling in order to more fully understand some of the parts of myself which feel clouded. Today I remember that shedding light on these aspects is not only to see them as they are, but to raise them from the darkness.
We can always step back into ourselves to experience this purity of self by re-membering those bits of light within ourselves. Children especially exhibit this consciousness with unimaginable passionate energy and love for the world around us.
Food for thought:
What is holding you back from expressing your own childlike innocence and curiosity?
Are you living the life you want, or is it someone else’s dream?
Who are you?
Till next time,
be sweet, stay humble

Not sure about the tarot ... but the journaling would be very fun to do so ;)
