SmallLittleCircle Steemians meetup

in #meetup7 years ago

Greetings my esteemed Steemians,

me @papanog, @wilsonkoh and @davidngtv having our Yamcha.

We have this wild idea about how we are going to contribute building this #teammalaysia community in Sabah. Maybe it can be adopted by everybody.

Since this SmallLittleCircle meetup, as pictured above showed three of us, whatever SBD we have collected, will be shared equally among us after 7 days.

That SmallLittleCircle is not about the 3 of us only, it can be a bigger group.

At the same time, we were talking about having a regular meetup or bootcamp in KK. So this could be a good chance to introduce this method to the newbies.
Hope that they maybe encouraged and inspired to attend the bootcamp because of this.

Example,
If 20 steemians shows up, they can write about the bootcamp and what they have learned.

Whatever SBD they got will be accumulated and shared equally after the payout on 7th day.

The conditions:-

  1. Must show up for the bootcamp.
  2. Must write about the bootcamp within 24 hours.

The objective.

  1. To encourage newbies to join the bootcamp and learn more about steemit.com.
  2. To encourage newbies to write at their point of view on the bootcamp or anything that can be considered as meetup.

The benefits.

  1. The newbies can grow faster.
  2. The senior steemians with relatively higher Steem Power can directly contribute more SBDs to the pool.
  3. The communities can grow together.
  4. The newbies will have more confidence to post their own story.
  5. More offline meetup can be made.

This will only apply if everybody agreed to it. Since the 3 of us agreed to give it a try, we just start it.

Conclusion.
At the end of the day, its all about growing together as a community.
You can use any tag, but I think one of it should be #meetup.

Thanks for reading and please leave ypur comment on what you think about it. Cheers.

This is a really good idea by the three of you. Maybe we should invites teachers to join Steemit and the bootcamp, these teachers then will recommend it to the school board. If accepted, we can start Steemit at the grassroot level, to the students. The school might even decide to open up a Steemit Club after that. Just an idea.

Good idea...but student barred from bringing handphone to school😅. Maybe teachers have ideas as you suggested. Thanks @beverlyjoe

They can use the computer labs or laptops, these will be part of their extra curricular activities. The good thing about Steemit is, it can be used by whatever clubs there is in that school. Sports, Photography, Drawings, Writing, Business, Journalism, etc., just name any clubs, and Steemit is the best platform for exposure and gaining $ for the clubs budgets as well.

Very true indeed. Never thought about the laptop. 😅

Great initiative @papanog. Let’s turn this wild idea into something amazing.

Thank you. Lets do it.
Cheers
