I tell them it's like investing in 'the internet' or 'email' as a technology back in the 90's. It's different from investing in a company because you invest in the infrastructure

I tell people it's the currency of the future. That it will replace the old Legacy system of debt & fiat with is dying as result it being taken too far. Too much debt to continue moving in the same direction. In fact, legally we can no longer just print the money to pay our governments debt.
