16 gauge assault hammer with a high capacity magazine and a pistol grip.....
I tell ya what with putting in this flooring I will never go back to a single shot hammer again for finishing nails.

I like the full auto assault hammers that you can bounce. Makes sheeting a wall or a roof go a whole lot faster.... :D
Oh yeah I forgot that it has a bump front for simulated full auto....
NOW you've done it! The liberals will be after these too, LOL! 16 gauge finishing nails...new size to me, but that is quite a finish I'm sure!
That is what I thought I picked it up with a 18 gauge brad nailer and a pneumatic stapler with a pancake compressor for about the same price as a harborfreight pancake.. But there were other 18 gauge finishing nailers so i guess it is became a new standard like 6.5 Creedmore?
Oh and the nailer was for the trim. Gotta let the laminate floor float...
Yes, it does have to float. I will put a lot of this down soon, and it will be glued at the joints with RTV. I rescue dachshunds, and sometimes the rescue will leave me a present, so sealed joints will help me a lot, LOL!
6.5 Creedmore for sure! I have a 16 penny nailer, but it is for 2x4s etc. I will be adding 2x2s with it so I can put 2 inch foam on all the walls to raise my R value, to lower my energy use.
