My partner and I were just having conversation. It's insane that we've grown and built what we have without even having our "Reddit" moment or a mass influx of Reddit users. Just nuts. I did lol a bit.
Well it was one of the better places to be, before Steemit came out... saying that, I'm glad I never cared about how much karma I had, definitely seemed unnecessary :)
I never understood the allure of people on Reddit who are just there to get karma points..... I mean Reddit is a good place to get information but I don't understand all the people who are there for the points and whatnot.

I saw something a while back where the operators of Reddit studied their platform, and (finally) figured out that if they provided their users with a financial incentive, that the site would be even more successful. I think Steemit is proving that point, rather nicely.
tbh I can't believe this site is not flooded with newcomers every second of every day! I only joined a few days ago myself and so far there are very few downsides and unbelievable upsides when it comes to being a part of this community! Anyways, great meme lol

what's truly ridiculous is when they then go on to put down steemit as a failed site. like, you just spent so much time on a site where you get meaningless internet points, and you're saying that we are the ones wasting our time???
