Yeah I went and checked a couple of the memes people were submitting to you the other day and several were just taken from google. I wasn't sure if that was against the rules or not so I didn't say anything. I wanted my submission to be original though. That's why I didn't enter one ha ha. I couldn't think of anything decent.
I think all of us do, we are used to it, there should be taken some initiative to control this. Thank you
Memes are usually readily available images that people create a story from mostly to make it funny. One picture even has multiple memes. With the Meme contest that you've been running. I can understand if people go searching an image on Google and make a meme out of it. So basically the picture is from Google but the story or the writings on the picture is created by them.
Some people accept it because it isn't easy to take a photo of yourself or others and make fun of it (most of the time) and post it. They find it easier to think of a good meme story line and find a perfect picture on google.
Since you are the creator of the contest it is up to you to make the rules and make it clear. How original is original? Are original meme thoughts with google images not accepted? Or only Original memes with original pictures.
A lot of people might not post their original pictures especially that a funny picture of the face is what mostly buys, this might decrease the number of participants. But since this is a platform where you are paid for your original posts. You understand where some people are coming from.
Since you are the creator of the contest and we are happy that you are doing this. You are definitely capable of making your own rules for the contest which We will all be happy to follow :)
