RE: Memoir Monday #52 FINAL PROMPT (3/3-3/9) - Describe a Typical Summer Day When You Were Ten Years Old

52 weeks have already passed? Unbelievable! I do remember that I started Memoir Monday late, because last year at this time I was with my nephew in the hospital! So I'll try to review the first few weeks, just to see.
I read your day and it's very similar to my summer days, but no bike and near the beach. We were very lucky to grow up in a time when there wasn't so much technology, of that there is no doubt, but also to have present and loving parents.
In closing, you have done an excellent job, my friend. I congratulate you. Personally, I had never written so much about myself in one year and particularly, with the death of my nephew, writing about my life did me a lot of good, almost therapeutic. So thank you very much! A big hug, that goes beyond the screen.

Thank you Nancy! I appreciate that. Yes, next week will be a solid year! I wouldn't taken the beach over the bike any day. : ) I agree, we were one of the luckiest generations I can think of when you consider everything. The pressure of writing a weekly MM post has really motivated me to get back into a writing schedule, which has been wonderful all-around. I treat it like a job now again. Another week is almost done! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
