Hi friends!
Today, I had a chance to visit an interesting and informal exhibition. The exhibition was called "Transgression" - this "presentation of works" was prepared for us by teachers of the Department of Intermediate Plastics from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Mykola Copernicus in Torun.
The idea of the exhibition is the embodiment of the notion of transgression as a development trend in various dimensions, including the self-realization of oneself, through which we can go beyond our own developmental possibilities - spiritual and emotional. Transgression is also a tendency for knowledge of new phenomena, information about the world or man. Summing up the above, we can understand this as the interpenetration of different experiences and experiences, which forces the artist to move his own existing boundaries.
The exhibition was devoted to the life of people during the First and Second World wars. I was struck by the detailing of each exhibit...
The first exhibit of the exhibition, which I noticed was a series of photos of human hands, which was called "On the other hand". I looked at each photo for a long time to get into her atmosphere and deep sense.
I am frightened by the atmosphere in the room itself.
When I hit the middle, I saw "eyes on the wall")). Turning back, I saw Jesus (I still do not understand what the author of the exhibition wanted to convey in the face of Jesus with a strange "nymba" and computer keyboard in his hands (this is not connected with the theme of the exhibition)). But these are still trivialities, the background "music" was included in the room, in which unknown cries (which inspired a certain fear on the visitors of the exhibition).
Still, I was surprised by the photo of the "fun" grave of the baby... I understand that the exhibition was supposed to take you back in those days, but it's a bit too ..
The next exhibit I saw was 3 slices of bread, on which were Polish money. As far as I understood, it symbolized human poverty during the war. What a piece of bread for people was for the weight of gold ...
Also, I noticed on the floor a bucket of golden potatoes that carried the same meaning as in the above-mentioned sentences.
There were a lot of interesting exhibits on the exhibition, with which I want to introduce you!
I hope you will enter this atmosphere of the exhibition, as I did!
