Watch Yanjaa reciting the entire IKEA 2018 catalogue in this advertising video from the Swedish furniture company.

In 2014 I met Yanjaa at the Worled Memory Championship in China. She is a half Mongolian and half Swedish memory champion who has an amazing talent for names. Recently she competed at Sweden Got Talent (or something like that, I am not so into these reality shows) showing off her memory. This has attracted IKEA as it seems to hire her as the Human Catalogue. In the following video you see Yanjaa answering what you can see on the entire 2018 catalogue on each site.

Now you could say this is just a trick but I can assure you it is not. Yanjaa has memorized every detail on each page. You can test her on the official IKEA Singapore Livestream on Facebook on September 6th.

I asked Yanjaa if she learned the catalogue before or after she was in contact with IKEA. This is her answer:

Thank you! We first focused on products, it was too easy so I suggested the catalogue. We did tests with the 2017 one and realized it could work and took a chance! More than the memory community, I hope everyone starts understanding memory techniques after some of the future videos are released...

You can read more about Yanjaa on my champion profile about her and in my interview I did with her.

Still not enough and you want a piece of Yanjaa for yourself (doesn't sound right, does it?)? You can hire her for a private 1:1 memory session on Skype.

I've looked at it several times and am still completely enthusiastic!

Yeah, it is a cool video and really cool memory stunt. Clever girl.

Amazing - my memory needs some work for sure!
Following you

Memory training is easy and fun and you will improve your memory by 10x and more in no time. Just give it a try. I am writing about this all the time under @flauwy, @thinkkniht and @yourmemorycoach. Soon @memorysports as well. ;)

I have a book on memory improvement if I could only remember the name of it. Lol the book is "How to Learn Almost Anything in 48 Hours" by Tansel Ali . I really enjoyed it. Yanjaa also show it is possible.

Ah Tansel, the Australian Memory Champion. I like him but I don't know his book.
