Im not going to say it.... Ohh yes I am!!!

Has my luck with imports from the States finally changed?? Look what made it to me with no import duty/tax attached to it.

Now I must say that I do still find the $75 shipping #mene charge to be a little on the expensive side, but I do understand that that price covers pure gold and platinum pieces worth several thousand dollars. Now admittedly, the small platinum "S" I bought is only valued at $100 but I can see there reasoning in having 1 flat p&p rate.

The truth is, had it not been for the fact that you can pay for shipping using referrals, I wouldnt have had it shipped directly to me, but as an experiment I thought I'd give it a try.

And to #mene24k credit the service was fast and professional and actually arrived when they said it would.... It took 4 days to make it to me, that's quicker than the service our own Royal Mail offers. 😂

Im glad that the package arrived but I don't think I will be using referral credits to pay for shipping again, its just too expensive.

Looks awesome!

Thanks @kp138 I do love #mene and I'm saving my referrals up for a few more

Is there any way around the shipping price?

Nope 😭😭😭😭

I used referral credits to pay for mine but that's $75 less platinum or gold then 😱

Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold

Yeah, it does seem a bit much for shipping. That is a nice charm but I actually like your JM bars a little better. :)

I get that $75 covers even the $4500 gold bracelets and that it's just easier to have a single flat rate, but it must kill their international sales!

I understand but it seems reasonable that they could have like, 3 different international rates. Or even two; under $500 and over $500. Oh well, WTF do I know?

But when did common sense ever prevail? Id also like to see a tier system and p&p costs depending on value of item inside.

Beautiful charm mate congrats on winning the HMRC lottery!! I really need to get in on the mene action I feel left out! 😭

Well sign up here and I'll let you in to a little secret.

I signed up ages ago with GM,'s link so I've got $5 credit on there I think, but it might have been before the referral program started, how much total credits have you received from your referrals? Ive been thinking of just asking friends on Facebook to sign up because Steem seems a bit overloaded with it now? They sure are beautiful pieces of precious I want PACman and peace .

Hundreds of $$..... Start with family and Facebook. Family sign up for free so that's your best start. I ran competitions in groups of 20 on FB. Everytime I got 20 ($100) to sign up, I'd give away £5 to one of them. Took a while to get going, but once they saw it was genuine (Facebook is full of Fake posts) I was filling 20 spots a day.

Mene only allow you to collect $100 of referrals at a time, so spend that before starting again.

I thought this post was about memes :(

I'm glad it worked out this time. You had a bad streak for a while there. Good to see you're getting your packages on time now.

Thanks buddy. Yes, I've had a run of bad luck with deliveries and import tax/duty. Fingers crossed I've turned a corner and the bad luck is all behind me.

Nice snag! That's a good looking little S.

I thought these were gonna be the photos I sent you at first. 🤣😎

This was definitely a one off. The price of mene shipping is a bit too much for me
