With Valentine's Day closing in on us, it’s time to look as some jewelry that will knock our loved ones socks off!
What to buy? The same old jewelry everyone else has, that rapidly depreciates in value and has “style decay?”
How about something that:
- Literally lasts forever
- Can always be sold back to Menē and melted down, and turned into something completely new?
Let’s compare this Menē 24 karat gold necklace with designer jewelry!
First lets take a look at this necklace from a well known designer brand:

$875 USD.
Obviously there is a piece of carbon slapped in the middle of this pendant. Has anyone ever tried to sell back a piece of carbon for what they bought it for?
There is nothing particularly special about carbon in nature. Does everyone know that a piece of carbon such as this one would burn up like charcoal at 850-1000 degrees Celsius?
Pure gold on the other hand, would survive a direct nuclear blast (Note: I haven’t actually tested this). I say this because gold cannot be destroyed, even a nuclear reactor or particle accelerator can only transmute gold into other elements - rearranging its elements on a subatomic level.
Enough of the science lesson, but the point is, gold is indestructible - a piece of carbon is not.
So how much gold our we getting in the designer brand necklace? Designer brands do not sell by weight, so we have to estimate. These images are of the same necklace and gives us a rough idea of what the ring weighs:
This is an 18 karat “rose” gold necklace.
18 karat = 75% gold
2.50 (lets round up) grams of 75% gold =
1.875 grams gold + some carbon for $875 USD.
Now lets look at Menē.
https://www.mene.com/jewelry/necklaces/womens-golden-bead-necklace-vii-gold
A whopping nuclear-resistant 16.55 grams of pure 24 karat gold.
$861.58 USD
So we are getting 8.83x the gold for less than the designer brand necklace!
This would be an awesome gift for your loved one, not only is it a gift of wearable wealth, but it is a unique and special design they can own forever.
Though their love for you will last forever, if their taste in style changes years down the road, they can sell back to Menē and start with something new ( See Menē Lifetime Guarentee).

Great
Cheap piece of carbon, I love it! So true, I read somewhere that diamonds are not even that rare. What we need is a Steemit gold signet ring made by Mene.
Its true what you say about diamonds. They are another jewerlyl industry fantasy. ... a steemit signet ring, i love it!
