I didn't know about this, but it is a pretty smart idea. I don't consider myself a men's right activist, but I feel like the movement is getting more and more legit.
I've been through family court more than once. I can tell you although I haven't been able to successfully "hide" things (and I don't really want to get into trouble for trying), I can and do relate.
I'm not trying to keep money from my kids. nope.
I'm just trying to make sure I don't end up homeless while being able to preserve the ability to have my kids in my life. To ensure that happens, you can't have constant demands for legal fees, having accounts seized out of policy rather than necessity (department of child support -- I'm looking at YOU) or licenses you need to keep your job (that they are siphoning from) suspended.
When the courts and system stop caring to a point and more on purpose make it MORE difficult for you just to function, because a laywer (no offense to the good, ethical, integral ones) wants to get paid, yeah, people in that boat definitely feel justified in trying to hide stuff.
