THEME : DONATION TO MENTAL HEALTH PATIENTS A NECESSITY.
In May 2016, Psychaid Love & Outreach Foundation which i am a member embarked on a project of donating to one of Ghana's mental health facility, that is Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital in Central region of the country.

Life is very difficult for people with mental illness.If you come to our part of the world Africa to be precise, anybody with mental illness is considered a mad person. This makes life very difficult for mentally challenged people since they mostly lack basic necessities like food, clothing and shelter.
There is also a problem of stigmatization from the community where mentally challenged persons find themselves. People do not want to mingle or have anything to do this them which is very disturbing.
There is also lack of support.
In Ghana, the government is making efforts to offer funds for mental health care. However, these funds are not forthcoming making running of mental health facilities a big challenge.
These are a few of the problems associated with mental health in Africa.
The following are some solutions
- Stop the stigmatization
- Provides funds and support in a form of Donation
3.Giving mentally challenged persons better health conditions - Training of more psychiatrists and increase access to care for people with mental illness.

Its great to care for the challenged. Its one of the things Jesus recommended that we do. They are our brothers and were once able like us so we just cant deny them now that they are mentally challenged.
