The Supreme Court of Spain today confirmed 21-year-old prison sentence Lionel Messi, sentenced to last year. However, he is unlikely to have to go to the rock. The BBC reports.

Messi and his father, Jorge, who takes care of the finances of their fathers, were both convicted last year for charging more than four million euros ahead of tax.

Jorge's prison sentence was shortened, because he was quick to pay back a portion of the amount he waited for the tax.

In Spain, those convicted of shorter prison sentences than two years may have sentenced the sentence to a sentence. That way, Messi could be a matter of importance.

The court case now goes back to the Barcelona court that condemned Messi's fathers and slammed the 21st month on football. There the fate of Lionel Messi is finally revealed.

Messi, who has five times been named best footballer in the world, has always denied his affair and told the trial last June that he was just about to play football.
