I slept late last night because I went to a party. I usually don't go out during weekdays. I also don't really like to socialize with people that much. But friends insisted me, so I was like-okay. You feel me? When I was at the party this thing popped up in my head. METAVERSE. Have you heard about it? Why'd this shit popped up all of sudden when I was in the middle of the party? I went there because my friends insisted. I had to drive there, put make up on, dress up and shit. That's a lot of work. And the fact that it was during weekdays? Oh maaaan.
We gonna live like in some video games in the next few years?
Now that I'm thinking about Metaverse, it would make things more simple and easier. We can attend or even throw a party in there. This all is just like a video games. I'm sure that you guys have heard about a video game called The Sims. It is similar. We can build our own avatar, choosing hair color, height, everything you want to be. In Metaverse you can buy a land and build houses exactly just like in The Sims. Let's just say you are living in 2 worlds. Real life and virtual life. You can chat with friends or anyone there.

"How do you buy a land and stuff?". In the metaverse, digital currency is used to buy clothes, to build houses, furniture, and many other items. Users traverse a virtual world that mimics aspects of the physical world using such technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), AI, social media and digital currency such as crypto. Cryptocurrencies have become very important to the metaverse space. Cryptos serve as utility tokens in the metaverse, while the nonfungible tokens (NFTs) are the virtual collectibles.
Metaverse is the future?
Metaverse is not only one. Same as there is no only one community, or one country. There is many of metaverse. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, is now currently working on it. You can choose in what metaverse you want to live in. We'd still be able to work in metaverse. You can choose to work surrounded by people or you can just work alone anywhere. Sounds like a great idea to moody people like me. People nowadays work using technology such as laptops, tablets or even cellphones to make things easier. We also used to write with a pen. People still doing it though, but let's say it's old fashioned. This is the craziest part for me personally, in the metaverse you can just write with just voices, gestures or even just by thinking about them. It is called electromyographic This giving me Black Mirror vibes. You gotta watch that series on Netflix. It shows us what the future is going to be. The thing is, we are now in the process of that situation. I'm not gonna lie, this horrifies me. But cool shit?!!

We basically live like in a video game. Using avatars which able to track your facial expressions in real time. Then again, it is cool but it is actually fucking scary. Can you imagine if the person you're talking to doesn't actually look like that and completely different like their avatars? Because metaverse let you to be what you want to be even far from reality. What I'm trying to say is we already fucked up right now. Because we are faking ourselves on social media. We make sure the pictures that we going to post are perfect then you'll get likes, nice comments and everything you expected from people. Now imagine if we living in metaverse, everything is going to be all fake. We living just like in real life, but those avatars replace our representations. So it is real but not real, you know what I mean?
Everything, especially if it comes about the future and technology, always attracts pros and cons. Future could be fun to imagine and yet scary. We have to admit that technology is making everything faster and simple. But in other hand we are gonna getting far from the reality. We already fucked up because of cell phones and internet. Now we facing the future that using avatars to replacing us in virtual space. Let me know what you think. Lets discuss!
